Hello. We are pleased that you have come. Basic English has less words than full English, so it is much easier to learn. A learner can participate in all aspects of daily life using good English within weeks, not years. The learner can proceed to full English while making use of this good base of useful language. No unlearning is needed to go on to full English. Saying the words needs much attention, but because there are less words, it is not hard to be clear even when a word is voiced with error. To hear good English, look to VOA Special English with news and stories. They say the words slower so you are able to say the words with them.
