1 . ReadPlease is a program which is downloaded for free or sold in CDs and makes a change from words to voices in a computer. These voices are in English, German, French, and Spanish and are able to be adjusted in volume, speed, duration, and speakers. So statements, questions and answers in Terada Method are put in ReadPlease. Then an American or British speaker of ReadPlease shows and talks such statements and questions to a learner and wait until the learner gives answers. If the learner is unable to answer, he is able to see and hear the answer which ReadPlease gives. This is able to be repeated as frequently as needed. A pause, clear, undo, and redo can freely be controlled for self-learning.
2 . Words, which are a key to each analyzed part of a statement, are given under Steps up to 11 in my guide to The Basic Teacher. But these key words are only for learners quite at an initial stage. The method of a learner's self-learning is to look at each statement and each question by hiding each answer under a bit of paper and try to say each answer. This is repeated until he is able to say each answer smoothly. In this respect ReadPlease is a help to a learner's self-learning. Free ReadPlease is still a help to a learner's self-learning though the free one does not give natural English voice.
ReadPlease, "software that lets your computer talk", has both afree version for download (11MB) or $10 delivered on CD. There are also various options of increasing value that includes ATT Natural Voice for up to US$150.
In addition to the teaching uses described by Saburo Terada, you can use ReadPlease to listen to all of the works written in Basic English
How : To use the free version, after you download it, you click your mouse to copy the text to be read from wherever it is to paste in on the ReadPlease screen and it starts reading it. It is that simple !! Obviously there are controls to allow stop , locate , start, and so on. Try it , you will like it. And if you like it a lot you might want to pay for the more realistic voices. (The free version has a mechanical sounding voice.)

So the statements, questions and answers in my system are put into ReadPlease and then ReadPlease speakers will talk each of statements and questions in English to learners and wait until a learner gives each answer. If the learner can not answer, he can hear the answer by letting the program give a voice. This may make it unnecessary for a learner to have an English teacher, except facing a teacher may give a learner an important chance of a serious learning feeling. In the summer of last year ReadPlease made something available to give a voice bar control. to be sold to serious users. ReadPlease needs another learner who operates a computer in turn.
