HTML -- HyperText Markup Langauge -- in Basic English
Discussion :. How well does Basic address the needs of HTML langauge?
This is only of interest to those who write HTML longhand. The Basic English Institute web pages
are written longhand for efficency at dialup speeds used by many of our third world readers.
Persons using page writers to create write horrible code will have no interest in this discussion.
Basic has many words used in HTML tags.

A few often used tags may be useful. These might be put in the "personal dictionary" of your text editor. These are
br
font
hr
img (or consider as part of URL)
li
ol
nbsp
pre
td
tr
ul
Note: the Capitalized list (proper nouns, initials) contains -- BR , HR , TD , UL .
We give no attention to fIle types, and domain features of URL, file names, and addressses because
these are part of unique names that are going to be flagged anyway.
File Types -- Examples NOT included, the various file-names will cause
an error, and file types are just part error flag associated with your selected name,
.cvs , .dic , .doc , .htm , .html , .lst , .txt , .odt , .pdf , .xls
Also NOT included are the components of URLs, again because, the unique file-names will be flagged and this is just part of it.
.com , en , file:// , ftp:// , href= , http:// , .org , src= , www.
Discussion : "HTML" and "WWW" -- are in capitals word list. Domain ".net" is Basic.
This leaves some less used HTML tags that are not included, tho some may be included in other special word lists.
There are other tags made of abbreviations and compound words not considered here.
Exmples of lesser used tags NOTconsidered further.
